  • Born in Deckerville, MI
  • Attended Deckerville High School
  • Began working in the manufacturing industry in the early 1980s and quickly moved into management positions
  • 1988 – 1994: Attended Lawrence Technological University and earned an Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor Degree in Engineering Technology
  • 1994 – 1996: Attended University of Michigan Flint for Master of Business Administration. Continue to work in the manufacturing industry in various Engineering and Quality Assurance positions
  • Married to Marie Stringer
  • 2005: decided to pursue a lifestyle change in overcoming alcohol dependence. As a result found a calling to pursue a purpose in assisting others in improving their lives
  • 2009: Leader in Celebrate Recovery Christian-based recovery process
  • 2010 – 2012: Attended University of Michigan Flint and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, minoring in Substance Abuse Treatment and Prevention
  • ASL (American Sign Language) Basics
  • 2011 – Present: Constructed a Facebook page named New Life Today Recovery
  • 2012 – Present: Attending Michigan State University Master of Social Work curriculum in the Clinical Concentration program
  • 2015 Graduated Michigan State University Master of Social Work curriculum in the Clinical Concentration Program
  • 2015 Limited License Master of Social Work through the State of Michigan
  • Employed at St. Clair County Community Mental Health as Case Manager and Supports Coordinator
  • Internship are with McLaren Hospital at 3 West Mental Health Unit
  • Internship at St. Clair County Mental Health Assertive Community Health Treatment Team
